Why do you spend your time teaching with Hub21?

I find it very valuable to give them STEM skills with a problem-solving mindset. I am happy to guide them in this journey. I believe they will contribute to our society with their brilliant minds in the future.

How has teaching to code with Hub21 impacted you?

I learn so many things from their perspective and pure joy. I am so pleased to see their progress in both STEM skills and their behavior. I love the deep connection that we had here. As for personal development, being part of a dynamic start-up gave me a new perspective and improved my communication and time management skills a lot.

What are some of your teaching principles or strategies? 

We learn a lot from the mistakes we make while trying. I let them experiment on their own to build confidence. By asking the right questions they can figure out their mistakes. I try to give examples from current technological developments by connecting our class subject.

What do you do outside of teaching with Hub21?

I am a research assistant at a laboratory, developing robotic legs for amputee patients. Also, I am into digital art and learning languages

What are the funny moments you’ve had with your students?

Once, we were doing the Space Invader project with dear Alexa and Olivia. While doing the project we pretended like we were spies on a secret space mission and talked to our necklaces to write "secret" codes. They were so motivated, more than ever! We had a lot of fun.
